ARTIST BIOGRAPHY
I was born and educated in New York City and trained to be a fashion designer at Traphagen School of Fashion. After graduation I worked as a designer, first in New York and then in Paris.
When I returned to the United States, I exhibited at two galleries in New York City. I moved to Los Angeles and continued my art studies at Pierce College, UCLA and CSUN.
At this time there was a shift in my work away from fashion and I started to paint and exhibit my paintings.
Living and exhibiting in Hong Kong and Singapore added a new dimension to my work that continues to this day.
I have exhibited in local and national shows and have won numerous awards including a special exhibition at LACMA (Los Angeles County Museum of Art). I belong to Collage Artists of America and Women Painters West. My studio is in Encino, California.
